TONKAWA Elders

June 2006 monthly minutes.

Tonkawa secretary, Roy Cook was there very early and met Jerry Starnes along with Rita to set up the room for the noon TONKAWA meeting, June 11, 2006.

Jerry Starnes brought in a tasty and spicy meat loaf with hot gravy. Jean Vineault contributed her mystery recipe for mashed potatoes. Green beans, potato salad and fresh wheat bread and butter were all very popular. A special treat is the kettle popped corn and jalapenos.

TONKAWA President Esther Abrahano and VP Jane Dumas along with TONKAWA Treasurer Vicky Gambala and our greeter Nellie Ruiz were missing. Good conversations continued as we locked up the meeting room. Traditional tribal teasing and good fellowship are some of the qualities that make this one of the most satisfying meetings of the month.

However, a major topic of discussion is the upcoming picnic.
